About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for assessing the overall information technology needs of assigned projects/programs. With a focus on delivering value-driven solutions, the role will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs are accurately captured and addressed. This role facilitates communication between technical and non-technical teams to improve business efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Assess overall information technology needs of assigned projects/programs.
  • Deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and end-users.
  • Ensure business needs are accurately captured and addressed.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ensure clear understanding of business requirements and technical capabilities.
  • Improve business efficiency and productivity.
  • Guide the implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and processes and translate these into practical application and operational solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and understand business contexts through a variety of techniques and forums (workshops, individual meetings, shared documents etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation of business requirement gathering workshops involving participants from senior management to business users.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce requirement artefacts: e.g. Business Requirements documentation, Functional Specifications, data flow diagrams.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully operate within a geographically dispersed team.
  • Competent and proficient understanding of the application of Project Management disciplines.
  • Competent and proficient understanding of Enterprise application platforms ERP, CRM, and/or HRIS.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems and exercise initiative and judgment where practices and procedures are not clearly defined.
