About the Role
Nextest is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and test software for memory test systems. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, QA, and field teams to address complex technical challenges in a global, customer-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into the existing software architecture.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop programs and libraries for new products.
- Maintain and extend programs and libraries for existing products.
- Partner with Field Applications teams to improve customer success and resolve technical issues.
- Work with Software QA to develop test strategies and resolve software release issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
- Strong C++ Object Oriented design and programming skills.
- Experience implementing software that interacts directly with hardware (FPGAs and ASICs).
- Knowledge of Windows and experience with Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and the STL Library.
- Proficiency with a source code control system (GIT preferred).
- Ability to present ideas to groups.
- Self-directed and proactive work style.
- Resident of Korea (no relocation support).
- Fluent in Korean.
- English proficiency.
- Submission of both an English resume and a Korean career summary.
