About the Role
We are seeking a financial crime analyst to join our Australia & Asia Financial Crime Team. You will be a subject-matter expert and trusted adviser to the partnership and lawyers on financial crime compliance in respect of new business, including AML/CTF policies and procedures, client due diligence, risk assessments, and reputational risk advice.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and help manage the risks arising from the onboarding of new clients and matters.
- Complete detailed CDD research on clients using a variety of tools, including analysis of structure charts to understand ownership and control.
- Carry out operational activities supporting the Firm's AML/CTF regulatory obligations.
- Liaise with other New Business Intake teams to ensure an efficient process for practice groups.
- Assist with continuous improvement and operational uplift projects.
