About the Role

As an Energy Providers Management Consultant, you will work alongside experienced professionals delivering consulting projects, both at client sites and within Guidehouse offices to deliver important engagements that drive tangible outcomes for our clients. A key function of a Management Consultant is to create and present high-quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will engage in research, analysis, documentation, and client-facing activities as part of a collaborative delivery team. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive impactful solutions for our clients. Responsibilities

Contribute to innovative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clients, leveraging cutting-edge methodologies and tools.
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to support project recommendations and solutions, inform strategic decisions, and develop actionable insights.
Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions that align with client goals.
Prepare detailed, high-quality reports, presentations, and other documentation for client deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations.
Effectively and regularly engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate solutions, fostering strong relationships.
Work collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Pursue ongoing professional development, including attending training sessions, obtaining relevant certifications, and staying updated on industry trends.
Assist in project management tasks, such as scheduling meetings, tracking project timelines, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
Drive and demonstrate cultural values through exemplary leadership behavior, people-first approaches, and cultivation of an inclusive, diverse, and safe environment.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline.
Zero (0+) plus years relevant post-graduation utilities work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity about the energy industry and a desire to make a tangible impact through consulting work.
Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines.
Ability to travel.
Ability to work onsite in a core Guidehouse Office or Client Office location.
Currently reside in the contiguous United States.
