About the Role
Join the Copilot Studio Knowledge team as a Principal Engineer to enhance Generative AI capabilities, focusing on improving Copilot's accuracy and speed. This role involves building cutting-edge features, defining architecture, and mentoring engineers to empower frontline workers.
Responsibilities
- Expand Copilot Studio's reach by building new features, improving quality, performance, and scalability.
- Resolve issues that block customer flows.
- Demonstrate technical leadership by identifying improvements, defining architecture, and generating high-quality code.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance team speed, agility, and quality.
- Engage with customers to solve problems and drive product improvements based on feedback.
- Provide thoughtful estimations with clear reasoning.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience leveraging AI tools to build high-quality code.
- 1+ years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade web services.
- 1+ years of experience integrating complex software systems and cloud components.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

- USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year (U.S. base pay range)
- USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area base pay range)
