About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deal execution, including sourcing, underwriting, and portfolio work.
• Build and scale proprietary M&A agents and AI product suite.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape investment strategy, philosophy, theses, and capital allocation.
• Present acquisition opportunities and recommendations with detailed financial models and analysis.
• Oversee financial, operational, commercial, product, and technical diligence with full autonomy.
• Manage relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders throughout the acquisition process.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) for successful integration.
• Assist in the finance, operations, and integration of newly acquired businesses.

Requirements

• Seasoned M&A and/or investment professional with 6+ years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance.
• Strategic thinker capable of identifying growth opportunities and contributing to long-term vision.
• Proven experience leading and closing M&A transactions, with a deep understanding of the full deal cycle.
• Agile generalist comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deals across industries.
• Strong academic record from a competitive institution with a degree in Business or Finance.
• Deep interest in technology and learning about diverse businesses.
• Familiarity with a buy-and-build model and experience/knowledge in VMS, software, and technology is a plus.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable work plans and strategies.
• High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Extremely organized.
• Conduct interactions with a high level of integrity and trust.
• Possesses a growth mindset, consistently seeking personal and process improvement.
