About the Role
As a Strategic Sales & Account Management Senior Executive on the Lending team in APAC, you will play an important role in building fundamental account plans, operational strategy, and driving sales activities to expand access to financial services and shape the future of the industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage selling and upselling of Finastra Lending solutions, closing opportunities to achieve or exceed financial targets.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts in Finastra format for short, medium, and long-term planning.
- Identify market opportunities to develop and grow a strong sales pipeline, ensuring annual targets are met.
- Establish short and long-term account plans for new and existing customers to meet key requirements and increase revenue.
- Initiate and manage the sales cycle adhering to Finastra standards.
- Advise, prepare, and present proposals to existing clients and prospects, maximizing opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with senior bankers to inform them of new product developments and foster business growth.
- Assist in the sales cycle for project definition in third-party/consultancy sales to optimize opportunities.
- Complete market research to provide accurate bank profiles, including existing products, key personnel, and future strategies.
- Establish and maintain contact with Product Centers and Marketing for market and product information to identify sales opportunities.
- Initiate and coordinate joint marketing and sales initiatives for consistent market representation.
- Build relationships and maintain close contact with Pre-sales to ensure adequate sales support resources.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree.
- Proven software selling experience.
- Demonstrated experience selling into the financial services industry (banks, asset management companies, insurance).
- Experience from blue-chip Tier 1 or 2 system integrators or software solution companies.
- Strong ability to conceptualize.
- Ability to build value propositions that deliver a compelling message.
