About the Role
The Office Manager will be responsible for administrative operations and front-of-house teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient care within the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Handling billing procedures for private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
- Managing administrative operations and front-of-house teams.
- Performing day-to-day medical reception tasks including greeting and arriving patients, answering phone calls and emails, and booking appointments.
- Supporting a clerical team of up to 15 staff across medical reception.
- Planning and managing daily clerical staff rostering.
- Managing the clinic’s daily appointment schedule.
- Managing the clinic’s daily banking and other financial applications and requirements.
- Working closely with the Regional Manager, Chief Medical Imaging Technologist, and Radiologist/s.
Requirements
- People management and leadership experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
- A background in radiology or healthcare is highly beneficial.
- Experience in COMRAD booking system and Microsoft Office is desirable.
