About the Role

Fitness & Lifestyle Group has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities / Maintenance Technician to join the team on a full-time basis. In this role you'll play an integral part in servicing iconic fitness clubs to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe and functional environment for members and team. You will be the first point of contact for club managers for all maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Perform planned & reactive mechanical repairs and provide troubleshooting to gym equipment following club visit schedules to agreed service levels.
Ensure all logged maintenance jobs are followed up and completed in a timely manner.
Equipment removal and re-installation.
Document and maintain maintenance records and hazard identification, reporting any incidents or near misses through WHS systems.
Provide essential service audits, and work with suppliers with warranties and ordering spare parts.

Requirements

Be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
Have effective communication skills both written and verbal and natural ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Have strong organisational and prioritisation skills and be comfortable working autonomously.
Be confident managing and coordinating external contractors.
Have a passion for the fitness industry and a willingness to learn.
Experience as a Facilities / Maintenance Technician.
Experience maintaining and working from a maintenance log system such as Service now or Jira.
Australian driver's license and clean driving record.
