About the Role

As the Area Manager, you will lead fast-paced operations across Sydney Airport and City locations, driving sales, profitability, fleet performance, and customer experience. You will focus on site growth through upselling, fleet utilization, and cost control, ensuring a premium SIXT experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets, KPIs, and profitability
• Drive upsell performance and maximise fleet utilisation
• Analyse performance trends and implement action plans
• Coach, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable
• Ensure premium customer service and resolve escalations quickly
• Manage P&L and control costs
• Optimise rostering to match demand and sales opportunities
• Maintain fleet presentation and minimise downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and company standards

Requirements

• Experience in sales-led retail, operational management, or customer service
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Clear communication and exceptional relationship-building abilities
• Commercial mindset with P&L responsibility
• Confidence analysing KPIs and financial data
• Solid reporting capability
• Highly organised with a proactive, growth-focused attitude
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Must complete a National Criminal History Check
• Must hold a current full driver's licence
• Must have full Australian working rights
