Responsibilities

Communicate closely with customers to understand their demands and required improvements using native Japanese or English.
Provide high-level technical support to customers, working with on-site advanced computing analysis and metrology modeling.
Deliver application recipes, system operation support, and direct customer training.
Perform system installation qualification, data acquisition, and troubleshooting.
Train customers on tool operation and recipe creation, generating training materials as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with system applications and service teams for tool troubleshooting.
Provide information on new system technologies and develop new applications with customers.
Stay updated on the latest features, especially software analysis related, and introduce them to customers.
Participate in internal conference calls during early mornings or late nights if needed for issue escalation.
Support Japan for over 10 years.

Requirements

Native English speaker and writer; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
Willingness to work long hours in a cleanroom environment.
Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong planning, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
Ability to actively collaborate with internal teams and customers on projects.
Capacity to systematically troubleshoot problems to root cause and identify/test solutions.
Motivated for new technology.
Willingness to travel for customer site visits and training worldwide for several weeks.
