About the Role
Lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge healthcare IT and patient monitoring networks, transforming how critical data flows to improve patient outcomes while driving complex, high-impact implementations across diverse clinical environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and lead the end-to-end implementation of complex, multi-phase IT network and system integration solutions, encompassing enterprise IT infrastructure and Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) equipment across diverse clinical and non-clinical environments within a large geographic footprint.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to healthcare organizations, providing strategic guidance on network architecture, interoperability, and system integrations to support compliant, real-time patient data exchange aligned with industry standards and proprietary requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced network performance and connectivity issues, ensuring optimal Quality of Service (QoS), while conducting rigorous technical assessments and configuration reviews to validate system integrity, stability, and performance outcomes.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional installation teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners, to drive seamless project execution and delivery in partnership with Customer Project Managers and broader project teams.
- Oversee the execution and delivery of Software Evolution Services (SES) contract entitlements, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely fulfillment of service agreements in alignment with contractual and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in computer networking in healthcare, IT technologies, or electronics industries.
- Hospital patient monitoring experience is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of information system technologies.
- HL7 and electronic medical record (EMR) knowledge highly preferred.
- Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is preferred (required to obtain within 12 months from beginning of employment).
- Bilingual French and English skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- English is essential for global business, national and global communication, training, and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, network administration, or other related disciplines, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective communicator, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external resources and customers.
- Must be able to meet minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
- Able to travel for business up to 65% across Canada.
- Average daily driving time is 1-4 hours.
- Occasional overnight stays and travel by air and/or train may be required.
- Able to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment.
- Able to work flexible hours (based on business needs).
- Able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Canadian work authorization is a precondition of employment.

- Must reside in or within commuting distance to Montreal, QC, Toronto, ON, or Ottawa, ON.
