About the Role

This internship offers significant ownership and a front-row view of how a recruiting organization operates as a strategic differentiator within a category-defining company. It is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy building from scratch, and want to shape the candidate experience at Rox.

Responsibilities

• Run sourcing as a pipeline, including enriching, scoring, ranking, and deduplicating candidate batches.
• Assist in building and maintaining sourcing automation from search to scoring to ranked output.
• Query and maintain the internal talent graph and tooling using SQL and lightweight scripts.
• Integrate Notion and Slack workflows for candidate assessments, weekly updates, and pipeline tracking.
• Develop small tools to automate repetitive tasks, following the principle of automating any task performed twice.
• Support the execution of candidate assessments and translate outcomes into actionable data.
• Ensure system legibility and maintainability for future use and iteration.

Requirements

• Demonstrated builder's instinct with a focus on creating solutions for real problems.
• Ability to take ownership of problems from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• High learning velocity, with the capacity to quickly adopt new tools and work independently.
• Systems thinking approach, focusing on scalable workflows rather than isolated tasks.
• A bias towards shipping functional versions quickly over perfect, delayed plans.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to fill in gaps with sound judgment.
• No CS degree required.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or JavaScript/Node is a plus.
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, or workflow automation tools is advantageous.
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance personal productivity.
• Prior exposure to recruiting, operations, data analysis, or sourcing is beneficial.
