About the Role
Westmag offers Internship and Co-op opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience in engineering, operations, product development, and business. Interns and co-op students will collaborate with professionals on impactful projects supporting Westmag's mission in drone motor manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams in design, testing, and analysis of drone motors and robotic actuators.
- Support operations with process improvements, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and collaborate with multiple departments.
- Gain practical experience in advanced manufacturing and product development environments.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and research tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Engineering, Operations, Business, or a relevant field.
- Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op period.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of relevant tools or software (CAD, Excel, data analysis, etc.) preferred but not required.
