About the Role
The General Manager is responsible for implementing quality concepts, supervising warehouse/vault operations and delivery service, ensuring proper staffing, and maintaining equipment and facilities for optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise personnel, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Implement and manage the company's quality program, setting and tracking operational goals.
- Monitor driver efficiency, fuel usage, and route performance.
- Manage vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Oversee warehouse/vault appearance, security, and inventory control.
- Ensure accuracy of stored items and timeliness of deliveries.
- Conduct audits and manage bay consolidations.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and updating delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all operational requirements.
- Take responsibility for after-hours operations and unscheduled workdays.
- Perform physical work as necessary.
- Embrace the requirements of a disaster recovery environment.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
- Must pass a clean background check.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate others.
- P&L experience is preferred.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Experience in a B2B service industry work environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills for people and process challenges.
- Detail-oriented work style.
- Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and schedule resources.
