About the Role

This position provides research, analytical analysis, and report writing support across consulting and valuation engagements, delivering high-quality research and insight-driven data analysis. The role involves collecting and interpreting market and property data across Canada, maintaining and supporting databases, and assisting in the development of client-ready reports and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Support consulting and appraisal assignments by providing research, data analysis, and administrative assistance.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to gather, verify, and maintain accurate market data using online tools, field-based research, and direct outreach.
  • Manage and update internal databases to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability.
  • Assist in report preparation by conducting supporting analysis, collecting and interpreting market and property data, and contributing to client-ready reports.
  • Assist with necessary research and map creation in relevant GIS software.
  • Assist with macro analysis of internal and external data to identify and interpret market trends.
  • Collaborate and support the efforts of the practice to ensure exceptional service to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, data science, urban geography, or a related field with a focus on real estate, analysis, or market research.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel; Working knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
