About the Role

Seeking a high-performing Commercial Mortgage Analyst with 1–3 years of CMHC underwriting experience to join a growing commercial lender. Responsibilities

• Analyze, structure, underwrite and fund CMHC-insured loans across multifamily, retirement, and student housing, including term, refinance, and construction transactions.
• Deliver high-quality financial models, credit analyses, and CMHC submissions.
• Liaise directly with borrowers, brokers, and third-party consultants, ensuring timely, professional communication.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Support the build-out of internal systems, templates, and underwriting standards.
• Collaborate closely with origination, credit, and servicing teams.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience underwriting CMHC-insured loans across various asset classes.
• Deep understanding of CMHC guidelines, underwriting methodology, and the funding process.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
