About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Art Director to join our Performance Creative team, focusing on digital media and creative software for a leading global technology client. You will create performance-driven work for digital, web, and social direct response channels, ensuring brand consistency. Your responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing assets for paid media, social media, display ads, email, OLV, websites, and landing pages. You will also develop AI-generated imagery, visual systems, animations, PR assets, storyboards, and video concepts, as well as experiential creative. You will develop on-brand creative activations rooted in strategies that bring art and messaging to life for specific audiences across channels. You will partner with teams to create concepts that enhance response strategies and achieve client goals, applying audience insights, strategic frameworks, and direct response best practices. You will stay current with trends like DCO, Content Velocity, Dynamic Video, and Modular Content Systems, and present work to clients while building relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Create performance-driven work for digital, web, and social direct response channels.
  • Develop conceptual yet performance-driven work, such as paid media assets including paid and organic social, display, digital ads, email, OLV, website and landing pages.
  • Create AI generated imagery and visual systems for campaigns.
  • Develop animations, PR ready creative assets, storyboard development for motion/video work and long form video concepts.
  • Create experiential/event based creative.
  • Develop on-brand creative activations rooted in strategies that serve as a framework for bringing art and messaging to life for specific audiences, across channels.
  • Partner with teams to create concepts that enhance response strategies and achieve client goals.
  • Apply audience insights, strategic frameworks, and direct response best practices to your work.
  • Understand unique audiences and create content that is relevant to each.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies (e.g., DCO, Content Velocity, Dynamic Video, Modular Content Systems).
  • Present work both internally and to our clients.
  • Build client relationships.

Requirements

  • 3 years minimum art direction experience in creative advertising and performance creative.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required.
  • Advanced design craftsmanship with a strong visual eye and attention to detail.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including use of component libraries and complex systems-based design.
  • Strong art direction skills applied to digital and AI-generated creative.
  • Ability to concept and execute within performance marketing environments.
  • Experience with AI tools (especially image/video generation) and strong prompting skills.
  • Ability to both generate AI-based creative assets and direct others doing the same.
  • Storyboarding and understanding of animation principles.
  • High level of technical design execution (file setup, asset creation, scalable systems).
  • Experience working with the nuances and requirements of writing for Online Display, Email, Social and Digital Experiences including video.
  • Working knowledge of web usability/accessibility, advertising technologies, and development methods.
  • Brand development experience.
