About the Role

Step into a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes role at the heart of the gaming floor. As a Count Attendant, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and secure handling of funds from slot machines and table games. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured, process-driven environments and take pride in precision, accountability, and teamwork. Your work directly supports operational integrity and an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collect and replace slot drop boxes and table drop boxes in partnership with Security, Surveillance, and Count leadership
  • Lifting and handling heavy cash boxes, which requires strength to prevent physical strain
  • Collect, sort, count, and process large volumes of cash with accuracy and efficiency
  • Safely transport funds between the Main Bank and various gaming areas
  • Ensure drop procedures run smoothly by maintaining clear, secure zones around active operations
  • Identify and report equipment issues promptly
  • Adhere strictly to internal controls, security procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Deliver professional, respectful interactions with guests and team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed and assist other co-workers as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in cash handling or a similar high-volume environment is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
  • Solid organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay focused and efficient in a structured, fast-paced setting
  • A high level of integrity and commitment to compliance and accuracy
  • Must be eligible for and obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
