About the Role
Exa is building the search engine for AIs, aiming to be the most intelligent search engine in history. As Head of TechOps, you will own all aspects of Exa's operational infrastructure, including IT, security, compliance, and office management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for a rapidly scaling company.
Responsibilities
- Own IT infrastructure end to end from device procurement, MDM, identity and access management, and endpoint security
- Lead office buildout and operations as Exa scales
- Build and maintain security and compliance programs (SOC2, ISO 27001) from the ground up
- Set up and manage AV and conference room infrastructure
- Own employee onboarding from a tech and ops perspective
Requirements
- Experience managing IT infrastructure and MDM at a fast-growing startup
- Experience setting up and scaling office operations from scratch, ideally across multiple locations
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with identity and access management
- Experience owning AV and conference room infrastructure
