About the Role

The Risk Manager supports the Enterprise Risk Management function by assisting with insurance-related activities, including claims management, policy review, coverage terms, provider onboarding, and contract compliance. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and external partners to mitigate organizational risk and protect assets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding of new providers, including review of applications, credentials, and documentation.
• Provide operational support for legal matters, including depositions, document requests, and translations.
• Assist with insurance program management by reviewing policies, coverage terms, and compliance with binders and contracts.
• Support claims management activities in coordination with risk management, insurance carriers, and legal counsel.
• Review contracts and vendor agreements for insurance and indemnification requirements.
• Maintain risk management files, reports, schedules of insurance, and related documentation.
• Assist with preparation of insurance-related reports, renewal data, and requests for proposal (RFPs).
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify risk exposures and mitigation opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare risk management, insurance, legal support, or claims management.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and nicotine screenings.
• Requirement to receive various vaccinations, including influenza, barring an approved exemption.
• Commitment to a smoke-free workplace policy.
