About the Role

Corpay is seeking a National Sales Executive to drive new business growth within the Cross-Border line of business. This role involves identifying, engaging, and converting corporate prospects into long-term clients, collaborating with various internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly targets by identifying, accessing, and selling the value of Corpay Cross Border to prospects.
  • Convert warm leads into Corpay Cross Border clients by completing applications for first-time trades.
  • Set and attend self-generated first appointments for companies with exposures between $2MM to $5MM annually.
  • Set and attend appointments with experienced National Account Managers for self-generated first appointments with exposures exceeding $5MM annually.
  • Conduct prospect demonstrations of Corpay Cross Border Online.
  • Execute innovative prospecting programs including e-marketing campaigns, webinars, list sourcing, and cold calling.
  • Continuously market to prospects not yet ready to move to Corpay Cross Border through periodic calls, emails, and market updates.
  • Maintain regular updates in the company CRM system, Salesforce.com.
  • Source and generate leads for potential new business.
  • Create a positive impression of Corpay Cross Border through professional conduct and timely follow-up.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of inside and/or outside sales experience; telesales experience is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of financial markets is a plus.
  • Understanding of payment processes (training will be provided).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com).
  • Experience in sales acquiring new customer relationships in the global and domestic payments business.
  • Understanding of the corporate foreign exchange process and flow of funds.
  • Understanding of Compliance as it relates to the Corporate Payments Industry.
  • Proven track record of success in generating first appointments.
  • Demonstrable success in closing small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of professionalism.
  • Tenacity, resilience, and a positive outlook.
  • Credibility and confidence to liaise with Directors and C-Level Executives.
  • Driven to succeed.
  • Proven ability to deliver results within required deadlines.
