About the Role
Deliver technically complex solutions, perform system integration support, and consult with business product owners to understand end goals and offer solutions during the design phase.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, and configure solutions using project-specific tools.
- Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions, including unit testing and release testing support.
- Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for complex applications in production.
- Build and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.
- Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
- Solve complex technical and operational problems and act as a resource for less experienced teammates.
- May oversee the work of a small team.
- In an Agile environment, deliver high-quality working software and automate manual/reusable tasks.
- Engage with the business from the beginning of design work.
- Leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value regarding design effectiveness.
- Actively participate in refining user stories.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated unit testing, and support integration and functional testing.
- Provide automated monitoring capabilities, warranty support, and knowledge transfer to production support.
- Develop code in accordance with acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline and four to seven years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
- Software engineering experience must include C#.NET, SQL Server, Azure and Angular 2.
- In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
- Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
- Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices.
- Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
- Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
