About the Role

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to perform validation on customer remediation events in accordance with the Customer Remediation Policy. This role involves pulling data from various sources, comparing it against partner data to challenge outcomes, and verifying the accuracy and completeness of remediation populations and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of data from Customer Remediation Events in accordance with the Customer Remediation Policy
• Use SQL database queries to pull data from SQL Server, Oracle, and Netezza
• Utilize tools such as SAS, Excel, Toad, pgAdmin, and Visual Studio Code to transform and analyze data
• Compare data to initial business populations to challenge accuracy, completeness, and remediation calculations
• Partner with the business to reach population consensus and manage milestones until event completion
• Execute population and milestone testing during validation
• Review and test remediation population data to ensure accuracy
• Provide critical challenge of business line data processes
• Credibly challenge data extraction, population verification, and financial calculations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience
• Two or more years of experience in testing, audit, and/or an applicable risk management environment
• Ability to work well under minimal direct supervision while managing multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
