About the Role

Provide high-impact support to the Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Leadership Team, acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of executive operations in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive diary and inbox management for Executive Leadership Team members, ensuring priorities are managed effectively
  • Draft and respond to correspondence on behalf of executives where appropriate
  • Prepare meeting papers, briefings, speaking notes and follow-up documentation
  • Track actions arising from key meetings and support timely delivery of next steps
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements and manage associated expenses
  • Act as a key point of contact for executives, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the planning and delivery of organisational events, leadership meetings and company-wide activities
  • Work closely with the Governance team to support Board and committee activity as required
  • Provide support to the wider Senior Leadership Team when needed
  • Collaborate with the EA team to ensure seamless executive support across the organisation
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including liaising with building management and suppliers
  • Coordinate larger meetings and events, including venue management, logistics, catering and guest communications
  • Handle sensitive organisational, governance, commercial and people-related information with absolute discretion and professionalism

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Directors or Executive-level leaders
  • Experience organising large meetings, events and executive-level engagements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including handling confidential information appropriately
  • Outstanding organisational, planning and time-management capabilities
  • Confidence in making decisions independently and knowing when to escalate issues
  • Highly proactive and forward-thinking, anticipating needs before they arise
  • Collaborative and approachable, building trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Calm, resilient and adaptable when priorities change
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Salary/Compensations
