About the Role
This role drives the product management agenda within the market, managing the end-to-end product life cycle for Trade and Working Capital Solutions. The incumbent owns product strategy, definition, development, and execution, including backlog prioritization, business requirements, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Execute product strategy for Core Trade, Trade and Working Capital Loans, Payables Finance, and Receivables Finance.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and client needs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Technology, and Compliance to implement or enhance products.
- Map and monitor local regulations and their impact on reporting requirements.
- Author and prioritize product and business requirements and user stories.
- Maintain product documentation, capability grids, policies, and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to the sales team.
- Represent the product in client meetings and gather feedback.
- Manage ongoing product performance, including client experience, pricing, risk, and distribution.
- Represent customer needs and provide strategic direction on product competitiveness.
- Manage product risk, control, documentation, credit, legal, and regulatory risks.
- Assess business risks to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Product Management or Product Development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Trade Finance, Working Capital, and Transaction Banking products.
- Extensive knowledge of local GCC regulations for specific products.
- Working knowledge of banking systems and practices.
- Practical experience with multiple business cycles and product flows.
- Knowledge of industry and competitor products across the GCC region.
- Deep experience establishing and enhancing product control environments.
- Experience driving software delivery transformation through Agile practices.
- Ability to make complex judgments and provide solutions based on analytical thought.
- Developed diplomacy skills to influence colleagues and external customers.
- Experience delivering presentations to clients and senior management.
- Experience working in KSA or the GCC region.
- Fluent in English; Arabic speaking preferred.
