About the Role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a Legal Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Management Department. This role provides end-to-end invoice preparation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The specialist will collaborate effectively across teams and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Edits Prebills via Prebill Viewer and Aderant based on requests from Billing Attorneys.
  • Generates a high volume of complex client invoices via Aderant.
  • Ensures all invoices are compliant with billing guidelines and required supporting documentation is compiled prior to submission.
  • Submits ebills via EHub, including all supporting documentation.
  • Monitors and immediately addresses any invoice rejections, reductions, and those needing appeals.
  • Responds to billing inquiries.
  • Undertakes special projects and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Flexibility to attend onsite trainings, work overtime, and conduct business travel as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision and take a proactive approach in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Takes initiative and uses good judgment; excellent follow-up skills.
  • Proactive in identifying billing issues and providing possible solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships within all levels of the firm.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day-to-day workflows.
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovation.

Salary/Compensations

  • $37.51 to $41.94 per hour
