About the Role

Vialto is a market leader in global mobility services, focused on streamlining and managing global mobility programs cost-efficiently and compliantly. This role supports the growth of the German Immigration practice, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Engages in business development activities and supports the growth of the German Immigration practice.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships and identifies opportunities for additional services and cross-selling.
  • Participates in and contributes to RFPs, client pitches and proposal development.
  • Acts as a speaker at client seminars, webinars and industry events.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.
  • Proactively monitors the immigration process for a portfolio of clients.
  • Ensures compliance with German immigration requirements and procedures.
  • Monitors KPIs, SLAs, engagement budgets and profitability.
  • Manages VIP cases and delivers exceptional client service.
  • Makes proactive suggestions regarding process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. tax, social security) and international offices.
  • Contributes to developing and leading a team of high-performing specialists and associates.
  • Drives risk management checks for new and ongoing clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in German immigration law, either in a corporate environment, a professional services firm, or an immigration service provider.
  • Admission to the German Bar (Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin) is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of German immigration law and related compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and large-scale immigration programs.
  • Proven business development and client relationship management experience, including identifying growth and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of client needs, service delivery, and profitability.
  • Experience working with multinational companies and international stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Team player with strong leadership capabilities and experience managing and developing people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • German or EU citizenship or valid German work and residence permit.
