About the Role
As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will support the development of Business Intelligence reports and provide insights for timely, evidence-based decision-making within the organisation. This is an initial fixed-term contract for 21 months, with a commitment to offer a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification.
Responsibilities
- Building understanding of the organisation and proficiency in relevant technologies like PowerBI and SQL.
- Collaborating with team members to identify data requirements and provide support.
- Assisting in the collection, processing, documentation, and analysis of data.
- Working with increasing independence while having access to team support.
- Generating reports and data visualisations to present findings intuitively.
- Ensuring analysis and reporting, and the data it is based on, are quality assured, documented, and fit-for-purpose.
Requirements
- Achieved three A levels or equivalent, and GCSE English and Maths, or have significant relevant work experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age upon enrolment (September 2026) and not be in full-time education or receiving funding for other learning programmes.
- Possess full UK Right to Work for the duration of the apprenticeship.
- Have valid and eligible residency status and be a UK resident for 3 years before the apprenticeship start.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and develop new skills in data processing, visualisation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data-related issues, with CV showcasing examples of problem-solving in daily life.
- Interest in data, even without prior study in analytics, reporting, or coding.
