About the Role

Aramark UK is recruiting temporary Food Service Assistants to join their team at Kingston University, KT1 2EE. Responsibilities include basic food preparation, making sandwiches and grab-and-go foods, operating tills, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
  • General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
  • Till work and taking payments
  • Restocking items and stock rotation
  • General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard
  • Aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal

Requirements

  • Previous catering experience preferred, but not essential
  • Transport to site essential as location is remote
  • Customer service experience required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
