About the Role
Aramark UK is recruiting temporary Food Service Assistants to join their team at Kingston University, KT1 2EE. Responsibilities include basic food preparation, making sandwiches and grab-and-go foods, operating tills, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
- General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
- Till work and taking payments
- Restocking items and stock rotation
- General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard
- Aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal
Requirements
- Previous catering experience preferred, but not essential
- Transport to site essential as location is remote
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to work as part of a team
