About the Role

Sportradar is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to drive technical excellence for our application and infrastructure evolution. This role is crucial for advancing our ServiceNow implementation program, covering configuration, workflow management, and custom development. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, becoming an in-house Subject Matter Expert for our ServiceNow environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the ServiceNow environment, becoming the in-house Subject Matter Expert.
Identify new integrations and automation opportunities using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and API standards.
Assist with documentation of the current environment, ensuring articles are kept up to date.
Provide mentoring for colleagues through in-role training.
Ensure services are available and functional according to SLAs by being part of an on-duty team.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Good written and spoken business English.
Team player with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Good collaboration skills and a desire to be a team player.
Eagerness to take initiative and suggest improvements.
Hunger to learn and a positive attitude.

Skills

ServiceNow architecture, core modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.), configuration, and custom app development.
JavaScript (Glide scripting), HTML, CSS, AngularJS.
REST and SOAP APIs.
ServiceNow integration with other enterprise systems using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
ITIL, Agile, and DevOps principles.
CI/CD and automated testing for ServiceNow.
Diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and translating business needs into solutions.
ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.
Module-specific ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.) are highly desirable.
