About the Role

This role exists to transform our early-stage people data setup from reactive spreadsheets to actual people insights, supporting business growth and data-backed decisions in hiring, retention, compensation, and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Map, clean, and structure people data across approximately 20 countries.
  • Coordinate across functions to maintain data quality.
  • Define consistent metrics such as headcount, attrition, and hiring.
  • Work with People Ops, Finance, and systems owners to address data gaps.
  • Develop repeatable and reliable reporting, moving away from manual pulls.
  • Own core dashboards for headcount, attrition, hiring, and diversity.
  • Ensure data reconciliation across teams.
  • Upskill the team on basic reporting and tool usage.
  • Build simple, clear dashboards for the People team and leadership, focusing on insights.
  • Utilize BI platforms for dashboard creation.
  • Partner with Compensation & Benefits on benefits usage and cost analysis, and pay analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI and tools for reporting automation, faster insights, and reduced manual work.
  • Improve data flows and integrations between HRIS, ATS, payroll, and other tools.
  • Understand end-to-end people data connections.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data, analytics, or BI.
  • Experience in a tech, SaaS, or product-led environment is preferred.
  • Proven experience building dashboards and reporting in a business setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Comfortable with SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or dbt modeling.
  • Ability to work with messy or evolving data environments.
  • Experience turning unclear questions into structured analysis.
  • Ability to explain data to non-data professionals.
  • Skill in spotting and fixing inconsistencies.
  • Ability to balance detail with speed and avoid over-engineering.
