Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor facility and IBX environments, including BMS/UPS.
- Record and report power usage and equipment status through routine inspections.
- Perform initial response, investigate causes, and report on recovery during incidents.
- Handle BMS alarms, investigate issues, and escalate unresolved problems.
- Create maintenance and construction plans and procedures, including safety plans.
- Direct and supervise vendor work, ensuring quality and safety.
- Perform operational switchovers, including breaker operations, based on procedures.
- Manage inventory and assets, and perform preventive maintenance using Maximo.
- Handle order management using Siebel and coordinate with internal departments.
- Manage data for power, capacity, and contract values.
- Report on unresolved issues and improvement suggestions.
Requirements
- Graduation in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
- 3+ years of experience in facility construction planning, management, or supervision is desirable.
- Experience in data center operations and maintenance or facility operations is desirable.
- Native level Japanese proficiency.
- Business beginner level English proficiency (ability to write or converse in English is desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work proactively and positively.
- Ability to cooperate within a team.
- Ability to work shifts.
- Possession of public qualifications is desirable (e.g., Fire Equipment Engineer, Class B Hazardous Materials Handler, Fire Prevention Manager, Electrician, Class 3 Electrical Engineer).
