About the Role
MTS social design is seeking a team member for neighborhood development for a project in Berlin, involving on-site work, 32 hours per week, initially for one year.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for residents, some with migration backgrounds.
- Contribute to neighborhood development and integration efforts.
- Initiate, plan, guide, and evaluate projects.
- Advise and support applicants for funding on applications.
- Involve residents in participation formats.
- Empower and support residents and initiatives.
- Participate in neighborhood-related networks.
- Organize and conduct events, including moderation.
- Contribute to public relations.
- Handle documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Completed degree in urban planning, architecture, or social innovation.
- Intercultural competence (preferably with proof).
- Relevant professional experience is ideal.
- Very good language skills (native or C1/C2) in German and another language.
- Experience in applying for and accounting for funded projects.
- High performance, communication skills, organizational skills, social competence, ability for independent work, teamwork, efficiency.
- Willingness for flexible working hours.
- Car driver's license.
