About the Role

As an apprentice, you will complete your apprenticeship qualification while providing quality first-line customer support and processing operational tasks throughout the procurement lifecycle. This role involves 20% off-the-job learning and offers a path to a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Completing your apprenticeship qualification
  • Providing quality first line customer support and dealing with a variety of queries via email, phone or in person whilst ensuring policy and process is adhered to
  • Providing an exceptional customer service that is professional, friendly and approachable
  • Processing a range of operational tasks for our customers throughout all stages of the procurement lifecycle
  • Managing your own workload as well as helping the whole team succeed
  • Identifying areas of concern and suggesting potential process improvements
  • Proactively taking ownership of your own development and building Procurement knowledge to pass your apprenticeship and make a valuable contribution to the team
  • Using our systems and processes in line with our organisational policies

Requirements

  • Achieved 5 GCSEs at grade A-C, including English and Maths (or equivalent qualification)
  • On enrolment onto the apprenticeship (September 2026) you will not be in full-time education or receiving of funding for other learning programmes
  • Need a full UK Right to Work for the duration of the apprenticeship, and have valid and eligible residency status and be a resident in the UK for 3 years before the start of the apprenticeship
