About the Role
LEAP is a global LegalTech leader seeking a Junior Data Quality Analyst to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and usefulness of financial data produced by their software tools. This part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract role involves reviewing financial documents and correcting data errors using internally developed software.
Responsibilities
- Use internally developed software tools to extract information from bank statements and other financial documents
- Review extracted data for accuracy, completeness and consistency
- Check balances, transactions and calculations to identify and correct errors
- Investigate unusual formatting, reconciliation issues and other edge cases
- Collaborate with team members to improve internal tools, accuracy, efficiency and automation
- Identify recurring patterns and suggest improvements to products and processes
- Test new features and provide practical feedback from a user perspective
- Create documentation and other resources for internal tools and data extraction processes
- Provide wider support to the development team where needed, including administrative, clerical, data entry or similar tasks
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, even during repetitive or long running tasks
- Confidence using computer software and exploring new tools
- Good basic arithmetic and logical reasoning skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A curious mindset and a desire to improve products and processes
- A flexible, can-do attitude
- The ability to work in a small team where priorities and processes may evolve quickly
- The patience and judgement to investigate problems carefully rather than rushing through them
