About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will coordinate activities within the integrated management system at the Berlin site and potentially other production locations. You will ensure stable processes and product quality, actively supporting the achievement of company goals. Your responsibilities include implementing the audit program, handling non-conformities, and driving continuous improvement of the management system.
Responsibilities
- Analyze quality problems and initiate corrective actions, deriving theories for root causes, proposing solutions, making informed decisions, and critically reflecting on potential consequences.
- Coordinate and support other Emerson locations.
- Manage specific software systems, including training, action tracking, complaints, audits, and FMEA.
- Conduct supplier, internal product, and process audits, followed by evaluation and reporting.
- Organize training materials in the relevant area.
Requirements
- Technical or scientific degree (Master/Diploma).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quality management.
- Qualification as a certified Quality Manager or comparable QM further training.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 required; ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 desirable.
- Auditor training according to ISO 19011 or similar.
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering and measurement technology.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
- IT affinity.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- High degree of initiative, structured work approach, and strong team and communication skills.
