About the Role
We are recruiting a Disputes Senior Associate (5–7 PQE) to join our highly regarded Disputes & Investigations team in London. The team is recognized for handling high-profile, complex disputes across litigation, arbitration, and investigations. You will work with leading partners on high-value and strategically important matters for global corporations, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. This role offers excellent exposure to complex commercial disputes, client responsibility, and business development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Act on complex and high-value commercial litigation and/or arbitration matters.
- Manage significant aspects of cases, including client files and day-to-day client contact.
- Draft high-quality pleadings, advices, correspondence, and other key legal documents.
- Work on disputes across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, professional services, life sciences, technology, and energy.
- Assist with and, where appropriate, lead on contentious regulatory and investigations matters.
- Support partners with case strategy, risk analysis, and dispute management.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, client pitches, and profile-raising activities.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers within the team.
Requirements
- U.K. qualified solicitor with approximately 5–7 years’ PQE.
- Strong experience in complex commercial litigation and/or arbitration.
- Excellent drafting skills and strong technical ability.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and taking responsibility for matters.
- Confident, personable, and commercially focused, with strong communication skills.
- Strong academic background.
- Demonstrable interest in business development and growing client relationships.
- Experience of contentious regulatory work is advantageous but not essential.
