About the Role
The Sr Inside Sales Business Development Manager is a revenue-generating position responsible for quarterly sales quota attainment for the Facial Aesthetics portfolio and managing portfolio growth through phone-based business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieves sales quota across portfolio and proficient in sales execution component of marketing plans.
- Independently creates call and business development plans across the product portfolio.
- Demonstrates adaptability and creativity with multiple initiatives.
- Sales processes must be focused toward business growth and relationship building.
- Manages attainment of assigned sales quota and customer satisfaction through consistent communication with management.
- Leads execution on all campaigns/promotions, new product launches, and training of accounts on Allergan programs.
- Develops product knowledge to serve customer needs, prospect new opportunities, and identify/qualify new business.
- Educates customers on indications, contraindications, and safety of products.
- Proactively solves customer problems in a manner that exceeds expectations.
- Identifies growth opportunities including expanding reach, increasing product portfolio utilization, and launching new products/indications.
- Educates and supports customers with marketing strategies including website and social media development, internal office branding, patient segmentation, and external marketing strategies.
- Pre-plans sales calls and maintains efficient time management for maximum customer contact and engagement.
- Maintains updated knowledge of the industry and competitive products.
- Maintains compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborates with Regional Manager, field reps, and Inside Sales Area Manager to drive sales objectives, cultivate relationships, and collaborate on growth opportunities.
- Covers leaves of absence and vacant territories by collaborating with sales representatives and management to develop and negotiate a coverage plan.
- Attends sales training and sales meetings as required.
- Completes administrative responsibilities such as presentations and expense reports on a timely basis.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and represents the Company with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Two or more years of relevant sales experience is required.
- A track record of earning strong commissions is required.
- Ability to work independently is required.
- Ability to be highly organized is required.
- Superior communication skills are required.
- Ability to travel by air and/or car up to 15-20% of the time.
