About the Role

The Donor Growth & Acquisition Specialist joins the Mass Marketing team to plan and manage Direct Response Television (DRTV) and Lead Conversion campaigns. This role focuses on recruiting new donors through online and phone channels, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing creative strategies to meet organizational income targets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan annual budgets and acquisition strategies for each channel with a focus on regular giving.
  • Manage vendors for DRTV and Lead Conversion, including creative development, media buying, and call center operations.
  • Lead weekly work-in-progress meetings and monthly reviews with vendors.
  • Create and adapt creative materials, including videos and telemarketing scripts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and global members to share best practices and implement new tests.
  • Optimize the digital experience for new and potential DRTV donors.
  • Train, supervise, and monitor phone call centers, including conducting call quality listening.
  • Support negotiations and contracting with agencies and service providers.
  • Analyze campaign performance using ROI metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Identify new potential services and providers for acquisition channels.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing DRTV, telemarketing, or lead conversion fundraising campaigns.
  • Proven experience managing external vendors.
  • Experience in the development, implementation, and measurement of donor acquisition campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience using data and evidence to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally up to 10%.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.
