About the Role

The Manager, HCC Risk Management – Canada & LATAM serves as the Healthcare Compliance Officer for regional activities, providing strategic and operational healthcare compliance leadership to regional functional leaders. The role strengthens compliance maturity, drives consistency, protects the company’s reputation, and reinforces a culture of integrity. This role also provides strategy and execution of risk management center of excellence activities, such as monitoring and Third Party Risk Management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the regional compliance partner and advisor to Regional Marketing, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) and Professional Education, integrating compliance considerations into business decisions and providing practical, forward-looking guidance and solutions.
  • Lead HCC risk management COE activities across Canada and LATAM, aligned with global and regional compliance strategies.
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to embed effective compliance controls into business processes and go‑to‑market models.
  • Lead risk-based compliance monitoring for assessing effectiveness of controls and overall compliance programs across Latam & Canada.
  • Provide insights that strengthen operational compliance and support proactive risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations, audits, and interactions with regulators or health authorities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to anticipate and address emerging compliance risks.
  • Prepare and present compliance risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to regional, international and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field).
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, legal, audit, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience supporting commercial organizations in regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional and regional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and judgment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English and Spanish required.
  • Up to 20–30% travel, including international travel within Canada and Latin America.
