About the Role

Senior Consultants lead the implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), defining client requirements, configuring the application, training users, testing workflows, and resolving issues before client go-live. This role is crucial for delivering next-generation infrastructure using emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or directly contribute to CRIMS implementations.
  • Analyze and evaluate requirements, providing product expertise and guidance.
  • Ensure solutions meet customer business needs and customers are prepared for ownership.
  • Assist other Professional Services team members and share best practices.
  • Analyze customer requirements to support sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
  • Execute proof-of-concept projects.
  • Educate customers on CRIMS methodologies and functionality.
  • Advise on best practices for implementing and operating Charles River solutions.
  • Monitor customer requirements to identify potential enhancements.
  • Document and communicate product improvements.
  • Contribute to software quality by communicating defects.
  • Support the defect resolution process and validate fixes.
  • Identify and suggest corrections for errors in documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the implementation of mission-critical financial solutions.
  • Experience in implementing a financial system within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm is valuable.
  • Experience with middle-office workflows, security life cycle events, corporate action processing, daily cash, position and transaction reconciliation is a must.
  • Experience with Position and Cash position management, including position-level analytics such as amortised cost and P&L.
  • Experience implementing investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system is desirable.
  • Experience with post-trade workflows, trade confirmation via matching platforms (e.g., CTM, TradeNeXus) would be a plus.
  • Good understanding of front office and back office workflows and processes.
  • Business Systems Analyst experience/skillset required.
  • Proficiency with SQL is desirable.
  • Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, messaging systems, and relational database structures is a plus.
  • Strong record of customer service, understanding customer needs and building effective relationships.
  • Ability to convey plans, issues, and concerns clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to influence key decision makers internally and externally.
  • Must be customer driven.

  • Must be focused on providing high-quality customer service.
