About the Role

This role is part of the Japan People Experience Team, contributing to a wide range of HR operations, labor relations, benefits, Employee Relations, and HR projects. You will support daily HR tasks, drive process improvements, and optimize operational efficiency to enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage core HR operations including onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Handle employee inquiries and manage employee data.
  • Prepare employment certificates and support employees on leave.
  • Plan and manage health checkups, stress checks, and flu vaccinations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs.
  • Support time and attendance management.
  • Participate in and support the Health Committee.
  • Liaise with social insurance labor consultants and the Payroll Team for salary-related tasks.
  • Review and update systems and regulations based on labor law amendments.
  • Provide consultation to employees regarding Employee Relations.
  • Address workplace issues and HR-related cases.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and People Business Partners to resolve issues.
  • Drive and support HR-related projects.
  • Improve HR systems and operational processes.
  • Handle contract finalization.
  • Create and distribute HR announcements.
  • Prepare and translate various documents (English/Korean to Japanese).
  • Plan, manage, and conduct HR-related training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR practical experience.
  • Understanding and practical experience with Japanese labor laws and the Labor Standards Act.
  • Proven experience in driving problem-solving through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • High communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
