About the Role

This position plays a key role in supporting the settlement, clearing, and investigation of securities transactions within a global financial institution. You will develop your skills through structured training and on-the-job experience, working closely with team members and gradually taking ownership of assigned processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily settlement and reconciliation activities accurately and on time
• Investigate and resolve transaction issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support preparation of internal and client reporting
• Gradually take ownership of assigned processes and contribute to team objectives
• Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Basic PC skills (MS Excel, Word, etc.)
• Native-level Japanese and basic English reading comprehension
• 3-10 years job experience
• Experience in financial services operations (banking, securities, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of securities, accounting, or financial products
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under time constraints in a deadline-driven environment
• Team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
• Control-oriented mindset and awareness of operational risk
• Interest in process improvement and efficiency
