About the Role

As a Transfer Pricing (TP) Consultant, you will play a vital role within a dedicated TP team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the specialist TP team and national TP partner on a diverse range of compliance and advisory projects across multiple industry sectors, providing broad professional growth and development within a leading national practice.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the specialist TP team on a variety of compliance and advisory projects across multiple industry sectors.
  • Contribute to delivery of TP documentation and Country-by-Country reporting statements for significant global entities.
  • Work alongside the national TP partner.
  • Conduct comprehensive benchmarking analysis and industry research, and present findings in detailed written reports.
  • Submit compliance forms and reports to the Australia Taxation Office.
  • Play a key role in supporting taxpayers with ongoing TP compliance and risk management.
  • Gain early involvement in broader business development initiatives and opportunities.
  • Assist with client meetings, with guaranteed early participation and exposure.
  • Interact regularly with colleagues across different divisions and interstate offices.
  • Be an integral member of an enthusiastic, fast-growing, and supportive team that values a positive work-life balance.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years' experience in tax, ideally with Chartered/CPA firms and TP focus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with TP team members across Sydney and Melbourne.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and raising them with Managers or senior staff.
  • Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with Partners, staff members and clients.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines for multiple clients.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Skills

  • Excellent written communication, report writing, and analytical skills.
  • Keen interest in developing knowledge, particularly in evolving TP rulings and guidance.
