About the Role
Mr. Handyman is growing its team of skilled craftsman to continue its reputation as a respected home repair and maintenance company. We are seeking professionals who can perform a variety of tasks while ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, ranging from two hours to two days.
- Communicating with the Service Team with customer interests in mind and ensuring the job stays within the original scope.
- Delivering a great experience to create life-long customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way process.
Requirements
- Live within the area.
- Have 5+ years' experience as a paid handyman.
- Own your own tools.
- Be insurable for driving company vehicles.
- Complete a background and driving record check.
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods.
- Maintain a professional appearance and the company-provided vehicle.
Skills
- Carpentry work
- Bathroom improvements
- Kitchen improvements
- Painting, both inside and out
- Drywall work, minor and major repairs
- General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law
- Floor installation and refurbishing
- Familiar with building codes
- Ability to use technology
