Responsibilities
- Provide professional salon services including haircuts, color, highlights, and waxing.
- Perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions on a computerized register.
- Conduct close-out procedures and light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding services, needs, and wants.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for stylists and guests.
Requirements
- Hold a current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Provide exceptional guest service, including consultations and efficient service delivery.
- Perform administrative tasks including register transactions and close-out procedures.
- Maintain light housekeeping duties.
- Ability to stand for sustained periods.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform continuous repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
- Ability to perform continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level.
- Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances.
- Ability to observe guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
