About the Role

Cotality is seeking to hire an AI Enablement Engineer to support the development of internal AI enablement tools and platforms. This role will help engineering teams adopt AI-native workflows by building and testing reusable templates, plugins, and automation. The position focuses on improving developer experience, documenting best practices, and troubleshooting AI-assisted development workflows. The goal is to enable colleagues across the organization to adopt AI tools and workflows through demos, pairing sessions, and guidance.

Responsibilities

Support the development of internal AI enablement tools and platforms.
Build and test reusable templates, plugins, and automation to accelerate AI adoption.
Contribute to developer experience improvements by evaluating AI tools, documenting best practices, and gathering feedback.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues in AI-assisted development workflows.
Write documentation, playbooks, and onboarding guides for AI development tools.
Apply software engineering fundamentals to AI tooling projects.
Communicate progress and surface blocking issues.
Collaborate with senior engineers to learn AI engineering practices.
Enable colleagues to adopt AI tools and workflows through demos, pairing sessions, and guidance.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in software development across multiple phases of the SDLC.
Broad generalist mindset — comfortable working across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and DevOps.
Experience helping non-technical or less-technical teams adopt new tools and workflows.
Demonstrated ability to create documentation, playbooks, and onboarding materials that drive adoption at scale.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern development practices.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Proven ability to work across teams and translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Self-directed problem solver comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
