Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with acquiring, maintaining, and enhancing skills for independent living and daily activities.
- Teach and model appropriate social skills.
- Provide supervision to individuals according to their Staff Action Plan.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with the Staff Action Plan.
- Provide assistance with travel training as needed.
- Attend meetings and complete assigned training.
- Encourage participation in exploring the community and its resources.
- Report all incidents in a timely fashion.
- Comply with Agency policies, procedures, and OPWDD regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with intellectually/developmentally disabled populations.
Education Level
