About the Role
In this role, you will primarily support the operational day-to-day business, from HR administration and contract management to the organization of internal processes, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will join our People & Operations team at our Berlin location.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier and service provider contracts.
- Coordinate external service providers (e.g., IT, office, cleaning).
- Support the organization of daily office life and internal events.
- Participate in administrative tasks such as data protection or internal processes.
- Create and maintain employment contracts, certificates, and other HR documents.
- Maintain and manage employee data.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Prepare monthly payroll in collaboration with the external payroll office and maintain payroll-relevant data.
- Support the recruiting process, particularly with appointment coordination, communication, and systems.
- Handle project-related or cross-departmental special tasks.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree (ideally with HR or administrative focus).
- Ideally, initial experience in operational HR or an administrative role.
- Basic knowledge of labor law or initial exposure to payroll topics.
- Work very structurally, carefully, and reliably.
- Remain motivated and maintain an overview even with recurring tasks.
- Handle sensitive data responsibly.
- Possess a pragmatic, hands-on mentality.
- Communicate confidently in German and navigate well in English.
